Keith G. Daubenspeck, Chairman and Co-Founder, is a 22-year veteran of the securities industry. He started his career working at the Chicago offices of Lehman Bros., Oppenheimer and Bear Stearns. In the mid-1990’s he co-founded Madison Securities. Recently named to Forbes magazine’s Midas 100 List, a prestigious list of the world’s best global deal makers in technology and life sciences, Mr. Daubenspeck serves as the head of the firm’s venture capital investment banking activities. He also sits on the Board of Directors for several of AEI’s portfolio companies, including Alien Technologies, Motricity, and Metric Stream.
Mr. Badger is our Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer and has served as a director of Advanced Equities, Inc. since he and Mr. Daubenspeck co-founded the company in 1999. From 1997 to 1999, Mr. Badger was Managing Director of Institutional Sales for LaSalle Street Securities, LLC, a Chicago-based broker/dealer. Prior to joining LaSalle, Mr. Badger served as Chief Executive Officer of Kress USA. Mr. Badger is also a General Partner of Innovative Technology Partners, a late-stage venture capital fund based in Chicago, Illinois.
Mr. Marks, Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer, joined Advanced Equities Financial Corp. in July 2004. Mr. Marks previously was a co-founder of JWGenesis Financial Corp. where he served as its Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer until it was acquired by Wachovia Securities in January 2001. Following the Wachovia acquisition, Mr. Marks served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Wachovia Securities through May 2002. Prior to founding JWGenesis, Mr. Marks served as Chief Financial Officer of Automobile Protection Corp., a third-party administrator which; in 1999, was acquired by Ford Motor Credit Corporation. Prior to his employment with Automobile Protection Corp., Mr. Marks was employed by the international accounting and consulting firm of Deloitte & Touche, LLP.
Mr. Antoniades joined Advanced Equities Financial Corp. in July of 2004 as President of the company. He also currently serves as Chairman and CEO of First Allied Securities, Inc., a leading independent brokerage firm, and was instrumental in AEFC’s acquisition of First Allied in February 2005. He has effected three strategic acquisitions, and he spearheaded the move that led to the 2002 acquisition of First Allied by Wells Fargo. Mr. Antoniades’ business acumen has been demonstrated throughout his career. Mr. Antoniades has held various senior management positions at major financial institutions around the globe, including Berkeley Administration Inc. in Brussels, Belgium, and A. J. Bekhor and Company in the UK. Mr. Antoniades was educated in the United Kingdom.
Mr. Glaser joined Advanced Equities Financial Corp. in September, 2004. He formerly served as Chief Financial Officer of the Independent Brokerage Group of Wachovia Securities. Mr. Glaser also served on the Board of Managers of Wachovia Securities Financial Network, LLC and Wexford Clearing Services, LLC. Mr. Glaser is the former Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President and Treasurer of JWGenesis. Prior to his employment with JWGenesis, Mr. Glaser was employed in various capacities by the international accounting and consulting firm of PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLC.
Mr. Chorle joined AEFC after 13 years as a corporate, securities and regulatory lawyer in private practice. Prior to that, he served for 12 years in numerous government positions, including Director of the Illinois Securities Department, and Chairman of the Illinois State Board of Investments, which oversees the investments of three Illinois public pension funds. Chorle received a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from DePaul University, and earned a law degree from John Marshall Law School, where he currently serves on the Board of Trustees.
Prior to joining AEFC, Mr. Krameisen was Vice President of Individual Business Information Technology at MetLife. At MetLife he was responsible for leading large-scale project implementations, supporting major operation systems, and creating point-of-sale solutions for the various distribution channels. Krameisen spent the first 15 years of his career helping build Nathan & Lewis Securities, a distinguished independent broker/dealer, as their Chief Information Officer. Mr. Krameisen is a graduate of Oswego State University.
Craig Junkins is President of First Allied Advisory Services, Inc. (FAAS) and EVP of First Allied Securities, Inc. Mr. Junkins began his career in 1977 as a financial planner with IDS Financial Services, now known as American Express Financial Advisors, and held positions that included District Manager, Division Manager, and Vice President of Financial Planning through 1994. From 1995 to 1998 Mr. Junkins served as President of Aetna Financial Services. Prior to joining FAAS in February 2002, Mr. Junkins served as Executive Vice President for AXA Advisors, an entity consisting of over 7,500 financial professionals nationwide, producing $10 billion in revenue annually. Mr. Junkins led AXA Advisor’s Financial Planning, Broker/Dealer and Investment Advisory Services. Mr. Junkins holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management and a Master of Business Administration.
Mr. Crowe is the President of Advanced Equities, Inc. and brings 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He spent nine years at LaSalle Street Securities, LLC where he co-founded the Capital Markets Group. Prior to LaSalle, Mr. Crowe was Senior Vice President for Madison Securities focusing on Institutional Sales.
Robert S. Holcomb is the President of Advanced Equities Wealth Management (formerly known as Greenbook Financial Services, Inc.) setting the firm’s strategic direction and management priorities. Prior to becoming President, Mr. Holcomb founded DataStream, a software development firm that created proprietary applications for the financial services industry. DataStream was acquired in early 2000 by Thomson Financial, a division of the Thomson Corporation (NYSE: TOC). Post-acquisition, Mr. Holcomb served as Chief Operating Officer for Thomson’s Wealth Management division, overseeing several large contract “wins” for the design of next generation in wealth management technology. Mr. Holcomb has also served as a lead consultant to prominent investment banks such as Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan on many of the largest IPOs in Wall Street history.
Craig E. Columbus serves as President of Advanced Equities Asset Management (AEAM), managing day-to-day operations of Advanced Equities’ captive money management subsidiary. In this capacity, Mr. Columbus is responsible for the portfolio management team and its efforts, including portfolio selection, trading, execution, proprietary money management and product development. Mr. Columbus was the Chief Market Strategist for Thomson Financial, a leading provider of information and technology solutions to the worldwide financial community. During this time, he became one of Wall Street’s most recognizable figures, appearing each Monday on CNBC’s Power Lunch program for seven years. Mr. Columbus is a graduate of Loyola University, holds an MBA degree from Penn State University and a law degree from Indiana University. He was previously a candidate for the United States House of Representatives.
Mark Dransfield is a 23-year veteran of the securities industry. He is a pioneer in the development of fee-based advisory programs. He is an Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS), a designation offered by the College for Financial Planning. He has served on the Securities Industry Association (SIA) Investment Company Committee, the SIA Marketing Committee, and the SIA Investment Advisory Roundtable, along with other industry committees. Mark Dransfield is a graduate of Brigham Young University.
Mr. Campanale joined Advanced Equities in March of 2008 as Chairman and CEO of Advanced Equities Wealth Management. Mr. Campanale is responsible for the unit’s overall performance and works closely with existing staff members to continue to expand AEWM’s capabilities and revenues. He oversees the expansion of a comprehensive wealth management suite of products and services to First Allied and Advanced Equities’ private client group. Mr. Campanale was most recently Chairman and CEO of Campanale Consulting Group, LLC based in Birmingham, Michigan, and was the President and CEO of Smith Barney Consulting from 1995 to 2004. He joined Smith Barney in 1975 and played an instrumental role pioneering the separate managed account and investment management consulting business globally.
